Counted, not estimated

Inside the borders of Rwanda, 179 stations and chargers are counted from OpenStreetMap: 172 fuel stations and 7 public charging points. Roughly 96% of what is mapped is fuel and 4% is EV charging. None is tagged open 24/7, which says more about the tagging than the forecourts. It is a count of what mappers have recorded, dated below - not an official register, and in some countries the map is far behind the roads.

Counted from OpenStreetMap inside the national boundary · 13 September 2026. Refuelia maps no individual city in Rwanda yet; the map itself covers the whole country.

Rwanda is covered by Refuelia the same way as everywhere else: the map loads real fuel stations and EV chargers from OpenStreetMap for any area you search across Rwanda, and lets any driver confirm a station in one tap, so a pin can say when it was last checked instead of only where it is.

Fuel in Rwanda

Petrol and diesel cover almost everything on the road here. What changes is how easily you find them: a city forecourt and a stop on a remote route are not the same bet, so it is worth checking before a long stretch.

EV charging in Rwanda

Charging is still early here and clusters in the bigger cities. Where a charger does exist, CCS or Type 2 are the standards you are most likely to meet.

Prices are added when reported by drivers or verified sources, always with a timestamp. Refuelia never shows invented numbers: where data isn't available yet, it says so. See Rwanda on the map →

Browsing needs no sign-up. Anything a driver confirms carries the minute it was made — and until someone does, the station says so plainly, so nothing on the map pretends to be fresher than it is.
