There is no feed of “who has fuel right now” to buy, and we do not read bank transactions or scrape the pump. The only people who know whether a station has fuel at 7pm are the drivers standing in it. So that is where every live status here comes from, and why each one carries the minute it was made.
They see the real thing: pumps working or bagged over, a queue or an empty forecourt, the price on the board, a charger that starts or throws an error.
Four things, about ten seconds, no typing beyond a number:
The report is saved with the exact time and appears on the map for everyone. The next driver sees not just “fuel: yes” but “confirmed 12 minutes ago”, because a yes from yesterday is worth nothing.
Confidence fades with time. Once nobody has checked recently the pin stops claiming anything and the map says “no recent report”. We would rather tell you we don’t know than send you to a dry pump.
Prices and “there’s fuel here” come from drivers, not from us — that is why they are real, and why they are missing until someone posts them.
