Counted, not estimated

Across the 2 cities Refuelia maps in Greece, 2,273 stations and chargers are counted from OpenStreetMap. Roughly 52% of what is mapped is fuel and 48% is EV charging. This is not a national total; it is what has actually been counted, and it says when.

What the names on a Greek pump mean

Amolyvdi 95
Αμόλυβδη 95, unleaded 95, the ordinary petrol.
Amolyvdi 100
Premium unleaded 100 octane, sold under brand names. Only needed where the handbook asks for it.
Diesel kinisis
Road diesel, labelled B7. Heating oil is a different product and is not for cars.
Ygraerio (LPG)
Autogas. A petrol car needs a conversion to use it.

Islands pay more

Fuel has to be shipped to the islands, and it shows at the pump. In mid-March 2026 unleaded averaged more than €2 a litre in the Cyclades, against €1.96 on Lefkada and €1.95 in Heraklion and Chania on Crete. The Ministry of Development’s Liquid Fuel Price Observatory publishes average prices by prefecture every working day, which is the way to see the gap before you sail.

A cap on margins

On 11 March 2026 the government capped profit margins on unleaded 95 and diesel until 30 June 2026: at most 5 cents a litre between the refinery price and the price to the station, and 12 cents at the station itself, with an allowance for shipping to the islands and fines of up to €5 million. In the Commission’s bulletin for the week of 21 September, petrol averaged €2.197 a litre in Greece, above the EU average of €2.092.

Greece is covered by Refuelia the same way as everywhere else: the map loads real fuel stations and EV chargers from OpenStreetMap for any area you search across Greece, and lets any driver confirm a station in one tap, so a pin can say when it was last checked instead of only where it is.

Fuel in Greece

Most stations across Europe sell petrol (95 and 98) and diesel, with LPG or CNG common in some countries. Use the fuel filters to match exactly what your vehicle takes.

EV charging in Greece

CCS is the main DC fast-charging standard in Europe, with Type 2 for AC; networks such as IONITY run along the major motorways.

Prices are added when reported by drivers or verified sources, always with a timestamp. Refuelia never shows invented numbers: where data isn't available yet, it says so. See Greece on the map →

Cities in Greece

Places our saved map of Greece already holds, each with its own list of stations. What follows a city name is the kinds of place in the box around its centre — not a count, because the figure above this list is counted live for the whole country and the two would be measuring different things.

Browsing needs no sign-up. Anything a driver confirms carries the minute it was made — and until someone does, the station says so plainly, so nothing on the map pretends to be fresher than it is.
