Italy publishes what every forecourt in the country charges, and Refuelia reads that file. On an Italian Eni the price on this map is the price the site reported, with the date it reported it.

Counted, not estimated

Across the 213 cities Refuelia counts, at least 122 forecourts are tagged Eni in OpenStreetMap, in 2 countries. At least, because only the six commonest chains of each city are stored — a Eni that is seventh in its city is not in this number.

Counted from OpenStreetMap · 19 August 2026. Refuelia has no relationship with Eni and shows no prices it has not been given by an official feed. A brand tag is also not a promise the forecourt is open: where a driver has checked recently the map says when, and where nobody has, it says that instead of guessing.

Servito and fai da te are different prices

Italian forecourts commonly quote two figures for the same fuel — attended and self-service — and the gap between them is not small. The official file carries both. Where the map shows a single number it is showing what the feed gave for that grade, and the station card names the source rather than leaving you to assume.

Two neighbouring countries, two answers

Eni also appears in France and Austria on this map. France publishes per-station prices, so those forecourts carry real figures too. Austria does not publish an open per-station feed, so Austrian sites show no price. Same chain, same map, different honesty about each.
