Spain has a broad, competitive network mixing the big brands — Repsol, Cepsa, BP, Shell and Galp — with a fast-growing wave of low-cost unmanned stations such as Ballenoil and Plenoil that often undercut them noticeably.

The AP-7 Mediterranean corridor, the A-2 toward Barcelona and the radial motorways out of Madrid carry the largest service areas, while the cheapest fuel is usually found at supermarket and town-edge sites away from the motorway.

What you'll find at the pump

Petrol is sold as Gasolina 95 and 98, and diesel as Gasoleo A, with premium grades at some brands. GLP (autogas) is less common than in Poland or Italy but is expanding, especially around the big cities — use the LPG filter to find it.

EV charging in Spain

CCS is the main DC standard with Type 2 for AC. Coverage is strongest along the Mediterranean coast and the Madrid-Barcelona axis, with IONITY and Iberdrola hubs on the main corridors.

Prices are added when reported by drivers or verified sources, always with a timestamp. Refuelia never shows invented numbers — where data isn't available yet, it says so. See Spain on the map →
